Studio Cultivate have been involved with the beautiful Physic Garden for a number of years. SC Founder, Francis worked at the garden as a member of the gardening staff, before becoming involved with the Education Department.

Recently, The Chelsea Physic Garden have commissioned Studio Cultivate to create and deliver a number of PlayGreen workshops, including ‘Storm in a Teacup’, ‘Dinner with Dinosaurs’ and ‘Princesses, Pirates, Merchants and Worms’.

Chelsea Physic Garden currently hosts a number of Studio Cultivate’s PlayGreen projects.

In 2016, Studio Cultivate’s PlayGreen brought the Shakespeare Garden Project to Southwark Cathedral for the 400th Centenary of Shakespeare’s death.

The project turned the beautiful cathedral, its grounds, Borough Market, The Golden Hind and London’s southbank into a 16th Century ‘fair’ Verona and Athenian woodland in PlayGreen’s unique take on Romeo and Juliet and A Midsummer’s Night Dream.
