Buckthorne Cutting Nature Reserve

A unique and historic, urban woodland

We’re thrilled to be running Nature Adventure at the Buckthorne Cutting Nature Reserve! A location of significant ecological importance and of fascinating history.

The site is securely fenced and gated to provide safety for your child, but also large enough to allow for exciting nature immersion!!

“It makes learning way more exciting, usually topic is just facts, this has a whole world in a story.”
— Year 5 pupil
I have been really impressed by how cross-curricular the project has been, and how brilliantly it provides a context for the children to engage with the various aspects of the National Curriculum
— Scarlett Cookson; Assistant Head Teacher; Richard Cobden Primary. London
